Privacy Policy

ListGo is an app for saving places you want to remember and organising them into lists and trips. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@listgokw.com.

Who we are

ListGo is operated from Kuwait. For anything related to privacy or your data, contact hello@listgokw.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, display name, username, date of birth and gender. Date of birth is used to confirm you meet our minimum age.
• What you save: places, lists, trips, photos you add, links you share into the app, notes, categories, areas and reminders.
• Sign-in information: if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and name from them. We never receive your password.
• Location: only if you allow it, and only while you are using the app, so it can show where you are on the map and alert you when you are near a saved place. We do not track you in the background and we do not store a history of where you have been.
• Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as error reports and the time your data was last synced.

What we do with it

• Save your places and keep them in sync across your devices.
• Show your published lists and places to people who follow you, if you choose to publish them.
• Send the notifications you ask for, such as reminders you set on a place.
• Keep the service working: fixing problems, preventing abuse, and improving features.

We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

What other people can see

Your saved places are private by default. Things become visible to others only when you choose:

• Publishing a list or place shows it, and your profile, to people who can see your board.
• Sharing a link lets anyone with that link view what you shared.
• Collaborating on a list shows that list to the people you invite.

You can unpublish or stop sharing at any time, and you can make your account private so only approved followers can see your published content.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of services to run ListGo. They only process what they need to:

• Supabase — stores your account, your saved content and your photos, on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Apple and Google — only if you use their sign-in, and only to confirm who you are.
• Apple — delivers notifications to your device.

Opening a map link or an original post takes you to that company's own app or website (for example Apple Maps, Google Maps or Instagram), where their own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Deleted places and lists sit in a recently deleted area for a short period so you can restore them, then they are removed. Photos no longer used by any place are deleted automatically.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings inside the app. This removes your profile, your saved content and your photos. Some records may remain briefly in backups before they expire. You can also email hello@listgokw.com and ask us to do it for you.

Your choices

• Location: allow or refuse it in your device settings; the app works without it, minus the map features.
• Notifications: turn each type on or off in Settings, or switch them off entirely on your device.
• Privacy: make your account private, or unpublish anything you shared.
• Your data: back up your lists and places to a file from Settings, or ask us for a copy.

Children

ListGo is not for children under 13, and we ask for date of birth at sign-up to enforce this. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

Your data is protected by rules that only allow your own account to read and write it, and it travels encrypted between your device and our servers. No service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and fix problems quickly when we find them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app when the change is significant.
